I made it!

Vanilla ice cream is the simplest of all ice creams… And they say that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication. Endless flavors of ice cream and limitless options of toppings are exciting, but vanilla is one of our favorites because it is such a simple, yet satisfying flavor. Top it with pretty much anything, fruit, nuts, pies, cobblers, crumbles or sprinkles, and you can be sure it will taste great. Something so versatile can never be boring.

The best thing about vanilla ice cream is how easy it is to make. Below are our favorite recipes, for those who have an ice cream mixer and also for those who don’t. One recipe cleverly uses ice cubes and a Ziploc bag to “churn” the ice cream. So try one of these recipes, rate this post and hit the ‘I made it’ button above.
