Seared salmon is a simple yet elegant dish, making it perfect for a casual weeknight dinner or a special occasion. All it needs to be dressed up for a special occasion is a tasty sauce that compliments the salmon. The ideal pan seared salmon has a lightly charred outside that tastes heavenly as it gives way to the succulent inside. And salmon is so good for your health! If you are one of those people who prefer to remove the skin, we urge you to sear the fillets with the skin and try a bite of that crispy, caramelized skin-on fillet.

We put together 5 recipes for pan seared salmon below. Each recipe shows a sauce that increases the flavor quotient of your homemade seared salmon.
