Lentil soup is wholesome and nutrient-rich. Lentils come in many shapes, sizes and colors. Regardless of which lentil you use, the soup will turn out delicious, filling and healthy. Only the amount of water and cooking-time will vary based on the lentil you use. Lentil soup usually has many vegetables. Sausages, spices and your favorite seasonings are optional.
